Reading the Table in Practice

Embroidery costs more upfront but rarely needs redoing the right call for a blazer or polo an employee will wear for two years. Screen printing wins on cost at volume but assumes a design simple enough not to need photographic detail. Sublimation is the only method that works if the uniform needs a pattern across the entire garment, not just a logo on the chest but it locks you into synthetic fabric. Heat transfer is the fastest route for a small, one-off order, with the trade-off that it won’t hold up the way embroidery does over years of heavy washing.

The Question That Actually Decides It

Not “which looks best” all four can look sharp on day one. The real question is: how long does this uniform need to look sharp, and how is it going to be washed? A uniform replaced every season can afford heat transfer’s shorter lifespan. A uniform meant to last three years can’t.
