2. Has the fabric actually degraded, or does it just need adjusting?
If the fabric has visibly thinned, faded significantly, or lost its structure, alteration won’t fix that replacement is the honest answer. But a garment in otherwise good condition rarely needs to be scrapped over a fit issue alone.

3. Is this a one-off problem or does it affect the whole batch?
